GETTING HERE
When you plan your trip to Windsor Essex make sure you’re prepared when you cross the border. It just takes two easy steps.
- We’re easy to get to! Take the Detroit-Windsor tunnel and get from downtown Detroit to down Windsor in 5 minutes! Additional border crossings available at the Ambassador Bridge.
- You need a valid passport or enhanced drivers license to cross the border.

If you’re staying in downtown Detroit and want to come over without a car we also offer Tunnel Bus service to connect you from Downtown Detroit on public transit for $20 round trip.
