Top 10 For Family Day Fun!

Family Day is the perfect excuse to slow down, reconnect and make a few memories together. Whether your crew loves getting outdoors, staying cozy at home, or trying something totally new, there are plenty of ways to turn the long weekend into quality time everyone will enjoy. Celebrate family day from 10am to 6pm (the park is also open on Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm). 2.Lace Up Your Skates!

Visit Art Windsor Essex to explore the current exhibits. On Saturday February 14th stop in to Weekends In The Studio, free with your AWE admission, to make a Valentine’s Day Card from 1pm to 4pm. AWE is open Friday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm.

4.Fun For the Whole Family

Spend Sunday with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra at Lee Siegel Sings Broadway Sunday February 15th at 2:30pm. Lee Siegel brings a dynamic and captivating energy to Broadway tunes from musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweeney Todd, Miss Saigon and more. This concert features students from the St. Clair College Music Theatre program. Make Family Day extra cozy and fun by stopping by the S’mores & Cocoa Festival at WindsorEats Food Hall! This festive event is all about gooey s’mores, rich hot cocoa, and feel-good winter vibes—perfect for families, friends, and all ages. Gather around the fire pits, sip something warm, and enjoy sweet treats together while making memories the whole crew will love.

7.Pick Up A Pizza

8.Take It All In, In Amherstburg

Make a day of it this Family Day with a visit to the Town of Amherstburg. Browse books and games at River Book Shop, treat the kids (and yourself) at Evelyn’s Candy House, and take time to explore our region’s powerful history at the Amherstburg Freedom Museum. 9.Sports For The WIN!

Turn Family Day into a sports-filled weekend the whole family will cheer for! Catch the Windsor Express in action on Sunday February 15th as they take on the Glass City Wranglers, then keep the excitement going on Monday February 16th with the Windsor Spitfires facing off against the Saginaw Spirit. Back-to-back games, big energy, and fun for all ages.
