Canadian Aviation Museum
The Canadian Aviation Museum, home to Windsorโs own Lancaster bomber and Mosquito KB161, is located in the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association hanger at the west end of the Windsor International Airport, just south of Airport Road. Occupying the original hangar of #7 Elementary Flying Training School which was built in 1940 as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.ย The CH2A has maintained a fleet of flyable historic aircraft. Pilots volunteer their time to take the aircraft to air shows so that people everywhere get the chance to experience these types of aircraft. Every time you see a โYellowbirdโ in the air we are honouring our veterans. The public can purchase an โHonour Flightโ in one of the DeHavilland Chipmunks, Boeing Stearman biplane and Harvard for 20mins โ 1 hr.

Canadian Transportation Museum
The Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village (CTMHV) is nestled on a picturesque 100 acre site at 6155 Arner Townline. Here, history comes alive as you embark on a captivating journey through one of Ontarioโs largest transportation museums, showcasing a diverse collection of exhibits spanning different eras. Immerse yourself in the charm of the Heritage Village, where over 20 meticulously restored buildings from the 1700s to the 1920s transport you to a bygone era and indulge in the unique experience of visiting the Motorcycle Museum and Emergency Medical Service Museum. Fort Malden National Historic Site
Fort Malden stood guard during the war of 1812, a time when the threat of American invasion was very real. The Americans occupied this fort for almost two years after the British abandoned it following their defeat at the Battle of Lake Erie. Fort Malden commemorates a period when the destiny of Canada was determined by military action. Discover this historic treasure!

Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary
Located in Kingsville, Ontarioโs most southern town, the Sanctuary is home to countless migrating geese and ducks. In the spring and the fall, the grounds are filled with birds passing through using the Sanctuary as a safe resting place for food, water, and shelter. Jack Miner established his Migratory Bird Sanctuary in 1904; over 120 years later, visitors can feed waterfowl, hike 5 kms of trails in Kennedy Woods, follow the Storyboard Trail, visit the Jack Miner Museum, tour the Jack Miner Historic House, walk the self-guided historic tour, explore the Jack Miner Learning Centre, and enjoy the grounds and special events all year long.

John R Park Homestead
A visit to the John R. Park Homestead and Conservation Area will take you back in time to the 1850s. The house and farm buildings of John and Amelia Park are restored to bring the nineteenth century to life. Explore the Parksโ magnificent Classical Revival home, built in 1842, taste baking from the kitchen fireplace or play with a wooden toy in the childrenโs bedrooms. See the workings of an 1885 steam engine-powered sawmill and stop by the blacksmith shop to witness the making of small hardware and repairing of farm tools at the coal-fired forge. Peak season May to October.
