Zuleeats
Zuleeats specializes in traditional Ghanian savoury meat pies, but don’t let the name fool you! Filling options for pies include vegan and vegetarian, as well as beef and chicken. Each filling has a unique blend of mouthwatering seasoning and is enveloped in a flaky golden brown pastry.
Only the highest quality products are used and special orders for other Ghanian treats or anything that you are craving are welcome as well! Chef Zule is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions including gluten free.
Inspiration:
Since her earliest memories growing up in Ghana, Zule Ankamah has always loved food. Zule has a passion for food and loves to share it with others. She worked for years in the restaurant industry, but when the pandemic shut down the world and halted much of the food industry, Zule saw an opportunity to create and share dishes from her home.
Zule began creating dishes out of her home and ghost kitchens and would sell her products at local farmers markets. After garnering much respect and notoriety in the community for her traditional Ghanaian dishes, Zule decided to start her own restaurant to better serve the people of Windsor-Essex.
In 2021, at 2760 Howard Avenue, Zule began her restaurant ZuleEats, where she serves and caters traditional food inspired by her home in Ghana. Through her food she hopes to not only give the people of Windsor-Essex a unique and healthy option for their lunches and dinners, but to also inspire others to follow their dreams as she did.
It has always been Zuleβs dream to have her own restaurant where she can share her food with the world, and she hopes her story will motivate others to take chances and follow their passions.
Healthy and Accessible:
The food at ZuleEats is inspired by Zuleβs home in Ghana. She serves and caters a variety of flavourful dishes, like her incredible meat and vegetable pies, which can be purchased fresh or frozen (for those who want to enjoy it at a later time).
Zule strives to make her food healthy and accessible to all. She recognizes that many individuals have different dietary restrictions, and as such allows for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan alterations in her food.
