Join us in discovering LaSalle, Ontario by watching the fourth installment in the ‘Small Town Getaways’ series, created in conjunction with Ontario’s Southwest and Arienne from See You Soon Travel.
Situated along the shores of Detroit River and home to some awesome outdoor adventures and unique eats, take a look at what a getaway to LaSalle is like!
Hit the greens – trails, parks and golf courses! There is plenty to explore outdoors including the long trails at Brunet Park or waterfront views and a boardwalk stroll at Petite Cote. If you’re looking for a longer walk, go cart-free and explore Seven Lakes Golf Course and 191 acres of greens and fairways, or explore the grounds of Vollmer Recreation Complex for family fun at every corner with soccer fields, playgrounds and a skate park – or head indoors for some splish splash fun in their pool space.
If you wanna explore the waterways, River Canard Canoe Co. is the way to go – exploring Canada’s Southernmost river by the power of the paddle! You can pop into the outpost for some unique outdoor finds at the same time!
If you’ve worked up an appetite while you’re exploring there are plenty of great bites to have in LaSalle. Take on the Fat Schmoe challenge at Joe Schmoe’s Eats & Drinks, satisfy your sweet tooth at Yophoria and their gourmet frozen yogurt and ice cream bar, gourmet gastro-style bites at The G.O.A.T Tap & Grill, or quintessential Windsor-style pizza at Oven 360 (where you can customize the pizza to your liking!).
