Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary
Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary
Located in Kingsville, Ontario, Canada, Ontario’s most southern town, the Sanctuary is home to countless migrating geese and ducks. In the spring and the fall, the grounds are filled with birds passing through using the Sanctuary as a safe resting place for food, water, and shelter.
Jack Miner established his Migratory Bird Sanctuary in 1904; over 120 years later, visitors can feed waterfowl, hike 5 kms of trails in Kennedy Woods, follow the Storyboard Trail, visit the Jack Miner Museum, tour the Jack Miner Historic House, walk the self-guided historic tour, explore the Jack Miner Learning Centre, and enjoy the grounds and special events all year long.
The grounds and trails are open sunrise to sunset, YEAR ROUND!
