After years of declaring Hamilton, Ontario the best pizza city in Canada and receiving hundreds of comments insisting that Windsor is the real pizza capital, Joseph and Chef Clay Smith decided it was time to settle the debate. Over 48 hours, they visited 10 different pizza spots to taste the legendary Windsor-style pizza, known for its shredded pepperoni, canned mushrooms, bacon, green pepper and signature Galati cheese. The unique style was put on the map by a CBC documentary, but now it’s time to find out for themselves: is Windsor pizza really as good as everyone says? (Spoiler alert: we already know the answer!)
