Comber & District Historical Society Museum

The Comber & District Historical Society Museum formally known as the Tilbury West Museum is located 4 km south of Comber on Hwy 77. This building was the former Maple Grove School S.S. #8 which was constructed in 1884. The Museum was officially opened in 1967 as a Centennial Project. It is currently operated by a museum board of local residents. The artifacts currently on display have been donated or loaned to the museum in an attempt to maintain and preserve the history of the area for future generations. For an inspiring tour of “Life in Pioneer Days” plan to visit our museum.
