The Loop at LaSalle Landing
Welcome to The Loop at LaSalle Landing, LaSalle’s newest attraction along the scenic Heritage Detroit River. Established in 2025, The Loop is a multi-use skate and recreational trail that has transformed the waterfront into a vibrant, all-season destination for residents and visitors alike.
Located at 1010 Front Road, right next to the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing, The Loop is part of the exciting redevelopment of the LaSalle Landing waterfront. This innovative space offers something for everyone, no matter the season.
Winter Magic on Ice
From December to February, The Loop becomes a stunning ice skating trail, thanks to advanced ice plant technology that keeps the surface frozen. Glide along the trail and enjoy the crisp winter air in a picturesque setting.
Summer Adventures
When the weather warms up, The Loop transitions into a concrete recreational trail, ideal for walking, jogging, biking, and inline/roller skating. Nestled next to The Loop is the Rotary Circle. Relax on benches around the circle and watch as people enjoy playing in the water feature. Large shade sails will let you choose between a sunny location or a cool shaded spot perfect for staying active outdoors.
