Stoneman

On Canada’s Pelee Island, the Stoneman is an impressive inunnguaq to behold. Designed and donated by Pete Letkeman in 2009, this massive stone sculpture was designed as a tribute “to island perseverance”. The students of Pelee Island Public School named it Stoneman and created the smaller inukshuk surrounding the structure.
