Glass rods are torch melted onto a steel mandrel to create one of a kind beads, which are then used in my unique jewelry. These lampworked beads are embellished with enamels, murini, fine stringer, silver wire, and silver glasses until each is a tiny work of art. I also use many different techniques to forge metal – hand cut, saw, stamp, solder, roll, etch, hammer and rivet metal to incorporate the glass beads into distinctive wearable pieces of art. Also included in my jewelry are hand woven wire components, ceramic and polymer clay, paper and fibre beads, embellished felted beads, and seed beaded beads. My pieces are made of mixed media components and are one of a kind.
