Maple Syrup Festival
March is Maple Month — that special time of year to taste the delicious syrup that our maple trees give us! Maple season takes place when the daytime temperatures are above freezing and then go below freezing at night, making the sap flow. And the best part is when that ooey gooey sap flows into a bottle and then lands on our table!
Essex Region Conservation Authority is celebrating Maple Month with an expanded Maple Syrup Festival running over 3 weekends at two locations with a Maple Trail connecting the two sites!
Visit the Maple Festival website for a complete schedule of events and full details of each themed weekend and be sure to stop by and say hi to our Visitor Information Specialists at both locations for information and giveaways!
