Walkerville District Walking Tour
Β Go West Young Man: Origin of Hiram Walker and Walkerville
Β Advance ticket purchase is required, and attendance is limited to 25 participants. Guests are asked to contact Museum Windsor at 519-253-1812 in advance to reserve their spot. Tickets must be purchased prior to the tour.
As part of Prohibition Week programming, tickets are available at a special rate of $5.00 per person.Β Location of the start of the walk will be provided once reservation is complete.Β
This guided tour explores Hiram Walkerβs journey to Windsor and the creation of Walkerville. Participants will discover key buildings and sites connected to Walkerβs legacy, including the Hiram Walker & Sons Main Office Building, the Crown Inn, the former Pere Marquette Station, and the historic Walkerville Ferry Dock. The tour also highlights landmarks from Walkervilleβs second phase of development, such as the Walkerville Town Hall and the Walker Power Building.
