Arthur Millerโs Death of a Salesman (1949) is a tragedy about Willy Loman, an aging, delusional traveling salesman in Brooklyn who faces professional failure and mental decline. Unable to achieve the American Dream, Willy clings to illusions of popularity and success, forcing his sons, Biff and Happy, to live in his false reality, ultimately leading to his suicide.
