6th Annual Butterfly Festival

Join us Sunday August 23rd from 12-4 at the Via Italia Heritage Garden on Erie St E (between Langlois and Marion) in Windsor, Ontario for the 6th Annual Butterfly Festival!

This is a FREE and FAMILY-FRIENDLY event!!

Hosted by the Monarch Butterfly Enthusiasts of Windsor, Essex and Chatham-Kent County Facebook Group and Via Italia

Learn about the Monarch Butterfly’s life cycle, how to find a butterfly egg and raise it to become a beautiful butterfly, and much much more.

There will be live butterfly releases of home-reared Monarchs and Swallowtails at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. These butterflies will be tagged before being released. You may bring yours to be tagged and released too!

If you’ve ever wanted to create your very butterfly garden, join us for information and for seeds for native plants that are pollinator-friendly!

There will be artisan craft vendors with homemade goods available as well as face-painters and children’s entertainment as well.

It is bound to be an amazing and unforgettable experience for everyone, so, join us for the 6th Annual Butterfly Festival on August 23rd, from 12-4pm!
