Tourism Windsor Essex To Host W.E. Heart Local Pop Up Farmer’s Market at Belle River Stroll the Streets
Shop Farm Fresh to Kick Off the Long Holiday Weekend
WHAT
Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island will be hosting a W.E. Heart Local Pop Up Farmer’s Market to celebrate that harvest during the Thanksgiving edition of Belle River Stroll the Streets on Friday October 10th, support by Libro Credit Union and the Essex County Federation of Agriculture (ECFA).
W.E. Heart Local partners scheduled to appear this Friday include:

- The Fruit Wagon
- Sauve’s Country Market
- Stonehill Estates
- The Walnut Grove Bed & Breakfast
Our vendor selection will feature a variety of farm fresh finds perfect for celebrating the long weekend with the family, or to stock the pantry.
WHY
With it being prime harvest season in the region, hosting a Pop Up Farmer’s Market event allows visitors and locals the opportunity to engage directly with growers and producers in the region and also learn more about our W.E. Heart Local program, a year around program promoting 60+ businesses and attractions in the region.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to register for the W.E. Heart Local Digital Pass at weheartlocal.ca, a membership-based program developed to highlight the bounty of Essex County and the importance of agriculture in our region. Enhancements to the pass in 2025 include a year long check in promotion with monthly giveaways profiling in season offering across the region.
