Ahhh Patios… the warmth of the sun on your skin, a cool drink in your hand and people watching galore! Sounds like a perfect spot to park yourself all summer long and Windsor Essex just so happens to have a calendar full of patio plans!

2022 Patio Dining Guide

First stop: check out our Patio Guide. You can search by location or food offerings and the options are (almost) endless! Add to the experience by using our 2022 Summer Events Calendar and plan to hit a patio as you explore our festivals & events

Street Events

Take advantage of closed streets and extended patios with some of our ‘open street’ events, including:

• Belle River Stroll the Streets, happening June 17, September 16, October 14 and November 18, 2022.
• Amherstburg’s Open Air Weekends taking place every Friday starting at 3pm until Sunday evenings. The streets of Downtown Amherstburg are open for visitors to enjoy with outdoor patios, cafes and sidewalk retail.
• The Town of Kingsville joins in the fun with Kingsville Open Streets Saturdays from 4pm to 10:30pm July 2^nd to September 3^rd. A portion of Main and Division Streets will be closed for patios to expand into the streets. Free concerts and family activities will take place each week.

Night Markets

Night Markets are the places to see and be seen this Patio Season!

• Check out the Walkerville Distillery District Night Market on the last Friday of June, July and August. The night market is located in front of Walkerville Brewery and brings people together to celebrate art, entertainment, food, drink and all things local.

• LaSalle Night Markets are held the last Sunday of each month through September 25^th. Vendors feature talented local artisans and crafters, farm-to-table local produce and delicious food.
