Give Like Dolly Day at Grove Brewing Company

Grove Brewing Company is partnering with the Kiwanis Club of Windsor to present Give Like Dolly Day, a celebration of the music, spirit and extraordinary legacy of one of the world’s most beloved entertainers.

Taking place Friday, September 25, at Grove Brewing Company in Kingsville, the event will raise funds for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the celebrated book-gifting program founded by Parton in 1995. The program provides free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age five, with the Kiwanis Club of Windsor serving as its local program partner.

Throughout the day, guests will be surrounded by the music and unmistakable personality of Dolly Parton. Grove Brewing Company will also introduce a specially designed cocktail called the Backwoods Barbie. One dollar from every Backwoods Barbie sold that day, as well as one dollar from every pint of Grove Brewing Company’s Tailgate Lager and Tailgate Light, will be donated to the local Imagination Library program. Guests will also be able to make cash donations on site throughout the day.
Representatives from the Kiwanis Club of Windsor will be at the Grove to share information about the Imagination Library and its work in the region. A life-sized Dolly Parton cutout will provide the perfect photo opportunity for guests joining the celebration.

The evening will culminate in a special live performance by The Ashley Lynn Experience, featuring Dolly Parton favourites alongside music from artists influenced by her, including her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus.
