Hungarian Soul
Experience an afternoon or evening of vibrant orchestral music with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, featuring the playful energy of Kati Agócs’s Shenanigan, the folk inspired sounds of Béla Bartók’s Viola Concerto, and the rich Hungarian melodies of Zoltán Kodály’s Dances of Galánta.
Principal Violist Roman Kosarev takes centre stage as the featured soloist, performing alongside conductor Julian Kuerti. The 60 minute concert offers a lively program that celebrates folk traditions, expressive strings, and the energy of live orchestral performance.
Following the concert, stay for a Curtain Call Conversation with the conductor and guest artists. Hear more about the music, creative process, inspiration, and the stories behind the performances, with opportunities for audience members to participate in the conversation.
