216th Anniversary of Mexico’s Independence Celebration
Join us on September 11th for an unforgettable afternoon as we celebrate the 216th Anniversary of Mexico’s Independence with the traditional “Grito” civic ceremony presided over by the Consul of Mexico in Leamington.
The civic ceremony and cultural event will take place, for the very first time, on the iconic Pelee Island, where the vibrant spirit of Mexico will be showcased through authentic cuisine, live music, folkloric dances, and exceptional local wine—all in a warm and welcoming community atmosphere.
Presented in collaboration with Pelee Island Winery, this special celebration brings together the very best of Mexican culture, tradition, and flavour for an experience you won’t want to miss.
