Kids Fishing Derby

The Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach Kids Fishing Derby returns for another fun filled community event at Lakewood Park on Saturday, June 13. This family friendly derby invites kids to spend the morning fishing, learning, and enjoying time outdoors in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Registration begins at 8:30 AM, with the fishing derby running through the morning. Worms are provided, and participants are asked to bring their own fishing gear. Every child will receive a prize, making it a memorable experience for all who take part.

Free hot dogs, water, and chips will be available for participants, adding to the day’s fun and community spirit. Hosted by the Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach, this annual event continues to be a favourite for families looking to enjoy a classic summer tradition.
