Lake Erie
Lake Erie is the fourth-largest lake (by surface area) of the five Great Lakes, and the eleventh-largest globally if measured in terms of surface area. Situated on the International Boundary between Canada and the United States, Lake Erie’s northern shore is the province of Ontario with the states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York on its western, southern, and eastern shores.
Muskie, walleye, bass and steelhead swim fat and plentiful in Lake Erie. In fact, the western end of Lake Erie is known as the “Walleye Capital of the World”, and is brimming with yellow perch and rainbow trout.
