Stand-Up Comedian Mo Amer

Caesars Windsor is excited to announce stand-up comedian Mo Amer is taking The Colosseum stage.

Mohammed “Mo” Amer is a celebrated Palestinian-American stand-up comedian andaward-winning writer. Amer is the star of two seasons of Netflix’s acclaimed Mo, a semi-autobiographical series. Mo season one was “certified fresh” by Rotten Tomatoes with a rare 100% from critics and was named one of the best shows of 2022 by The New York Timesand NY Magazine. The series also garnered Amer a Gotham Award, 2023 Peabody Award, AFI Honours, and a Television Academy Honour.

Amer can also be seen in the Hulu show Ramy, where he plays Ramy’s cousin, who ownsand operates a diner, where many of the show’s characters congregate. Alongside his TVsuccess, Amer co-starred with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the DC blockbuster BlackAdam, bringing humour to the DC comic.

Known for his global reach, Amer has toured in over 40 countries. His stand-up specials, Mo Amer: The Vagabond, Mo Amer: Mohammed in Texas, and his recently released Mo Amer: Wild World are available on Netflix.
