sean kenney’s animal super powers

Celebrate the March Break by visiting Sean Kenney’s Animal Super Powers Made with LEGO® Bricks, an exhibition featuring awe-inspiring sculptures made from LEGO® bricks, is coming to the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing.

Tickets are now available for general admission. Admission is $13 plus tax per person, ages three and up (prices online show the total cost including tax, $14.69 per ticket. Tickets will also be available at the door once the exhibit opens.

Have you ever wondered what secrets lie within the works of art in the galleries?  Find out for yourself during the Public Guided Tours of AWE!  Join the knowledgeable Gallery Guides on Saturdays from 2 – 3pm for an interpretive tour of the gallery.

Learn about the artistic approach and vision of the fascinating artists featured in the current exhibitions.

The careful observation of the Stars, the Moon, the Sun, and other celestial bodies by Indigenous Peoples stand as a rich and foundational source for the origins of modern astronomy. Join us for an exciting presentation by Samantha Doxtator, Oneida Wolf Clan. March into March Break at Fort Malden

March 11 – March 15, 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Fort Malden National Historic Site is inviting kids ages 6-12 to “March into March Break.” From Monday to Friday of March Break, each half day has a special theme packed with activities that will keep participants busy and active. Each day children will participate in various activities, including hands-on cooking in our 1840’s cookhouse, indoor and outdoor scavenger hunts, playing period games and making crafts.

Fees are $31.50 per child per day, and can be paid upon arrival.

March Break at Museum Windsor – Mission to Space

March 9 to 17th This March Break Museum Windsor invites guests to come explore Space without having to leave the comfort of Earth’s atmosphere.
In addition to the events below, staff-guided space-themed crafts will be offered on the following days:
Sat. March 9th at 11am and 2pm
Tues. March 12th at 2pm
Fri. March 15th at 11am
Sat. March 16th at 11am and 2pm
– Guests can explore the Chimczuk’s new travelling exhibit, Health in Space: Daring to Explore from Ingenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation. This interactive display makes learning about science out of this world fun!
– There is a Mission to Space scavenger hunt and different space themed crafts each day. For each completed activity or craft, guests can enter in a ballot to win an astronaut framed print.
– Lego scavenger hunt at the François Baby House (254 Pitt Street West).
– Regular Museum hours and Admission rates apply.

Amherstburg Happy Campers – March Break Day Camp: Nature Explorers 

March 11 – March 15
Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Activities run from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

Our March Break Day Camp program offers an exciting theme for children and youth to learn, stay active, and grow. We are proud to provide campers with a safe and happy atmosphere that encourages them to be themselves, make new friends, and have lots of fun! Each day we play active and passive games, create crafts, explore outside, and use the Indoor Soccer Turf.

We know you are all excited to meet & greet them, so to keep things in orderly fashion, you need to come early to the Pop-Up Shop (located next to The Source) and YOU MUST BOOK YOUR TIME IN PERSON**, on the day of the Meet & Greets, starting at 10am.
There will be signage and staff that will be at the Pop-Up Shop to answer questions and give you direction.
**LIMITED TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE. You must make your appointment in person on the day of the Meet & Greets. No appointments will be made by phone, text, or email. Time slots available will be booked by first come first serve.
Lastly, come for a bit of St. Patrick’s Day festivities and watch the Emerald Isle Dance Society perform on Saturday, March 16th at 12pm, near the food court.
