Concertmaster Lillian Scheirich, along with the WSO, brings to life the works of Wijeratne, Boccherini, and José Evangelista, showcasing a diverse range of styles and emotions. From Wijeratne’s A Letter from the After-life, inspired by a quatrain from The Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, to the joy of Boccherini, and to Evangelista’s exploration of Spanish folk melodies, this concert explores the past, present, and afterlives of musicians around the world.
