Exhibit Opening: Boats in the ‘Burg

Event Website

Join us for an exhibit featuring Amherstburg’s vibrant history as a marine town. Information and artifacts relating to shipping, salvage work, tugboat races, lore, passenger steamers, local mariners, and more will be on display. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Each person who visits our exhibit on this date will be entered to win a prize.

We will be open from 12 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, May 18th, to complement a presentation & signing by Patrick Livingston, author of ‘Eight Steamboats Sailing Through the Sixties’ at the River Bookshop at 2PM. To register for this presentation, please email [email protected].

Although this is the only Saturday we will be open, the exhibit itself will be available during regular office hours (Tuesday-Friday, 10AM-4PM) until July 12th.
