2024 Urban Birding Challenge
The second annual Windsor Urban Birding Challenge is an event created by The Pelee Island Bird Observatory and the Bird Friendly Windsor Team. The event aims to introduce new birders to discovering nature in their city and to challenge experienced birders in an urban environment. It also incorporates the annual World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) celebrations, which have the theme of ‘insects’ for 2024. The challenge runs for 24 hours, however you can choose the amount of time spent birding.
