SUMMARY:WIFF Under The Stars
DESCRIPTION:The Windsor International Film Festival will host the free outdoor\, three-day WIFF Under the Stars event at the front lawn of the Aquatic Centre\, in Downtown Windsor from Friday\, June 12 – Sunday\, June 14. \nBy setting up a 20’ LED screen\, we turn the lawn space into an ultimate day or night\, summer film experience. Concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase\, including popcorn from Richmond Popcorn Co.\, and soda from the Soda Pop Bros\, two local businesses. \nWhat started as a response to being unable to hold the Festival in 2020 and 2021\, has evolved into a yearly outdoor community event. WIFF Under the Stars is held over one weekend in the summer where WIFF screens films all day over the weekend\, free for all to enjoy. A main focus of the initiative for WIFF is to give back to the community that makes us a successful organization year-over-year and to increase the accessibility of great films.
