A concert of extraordinary music created under difficult circumstances.
Featuring the world premiere of Iranian composer Farhad Poupel’s The Legend of Bijan & Manijeh, a Persian
love story put to music. A strong woman and her prince fight for love!

The WSO performs with 90 singers from the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus and University of Windsor University Singers!
Also featuring Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9.
