Saturdays in the Studio with Daniela Gaie

Thanks to the generous and ongoing support of Anne Safranyos and family, we’re excited to announce that Family Fun Saturdays in the Studio is back at AWE! Join featured artist Daniela Gaie in the studio and create your own masterpieces!

Join us in the studio and learn new techniques, from macramé to video mapping! Contribute to a collective macramé installation and your own macramé projects.

All participants must pre-register online.

• Saturday, July 9: Patterns and Colours: Create a colourful macramé pattern and explore different designs and colours!
• Saturday, July 16: Picture Perfect: Work collaboratively to create a macramé piece and experiment with photography and video recording.
• Saturday, July 23: Techno Macramé!: Discover new technologies and techniques! Create new works of art inspired by technology and macramé.
• Saturday, July 30: Community Ties: This week, it all comes together! Contribute to the macramé installation that will be used as a background for a collaborative video mapping project.
