Saturdays in the Studio, is back at the AGW! Create your own masterpiece inspired by current exhibitions and featured artists!

Challenge your creativity with Windsor-based artist Nora Harvey! Whether you have never picked up a paintbrush before or you’re an expert artist, these classes are for you. Inspired by our current exhibitions, participants will create paintings in a contemporary abstract style.


Saturday, April 2: Self-Care and Healing Collages
Inspired by the current exhibition Crip Ecologies:Vulnerable Bodies in a Toxic Landscape, create a self-care collage using paper, thread, magazine cut-outs, ribbons, markers, and acrylic paint.

Saturday, April 9: Abstract Composition Remix
Recreate in your own unique style one of the works featured in Restored Treasures Pt.1. Study Bobs Cogill Haworth’s ‘Murray Valley’ and remix the elements while focusing on shape, colour, and lines.

Saturday, April 16: Spring Celebration!
Create your own work of art inspired by spring! Create your own (flower bouquet? Butterfly?) or decorate your own Easter egg. Bring your creative mind and make these projects uniquely yours!

To Participate:

  • All participants MUST pre-register online. Drop-in between 1-4pm on Saturdays.
  • This program is free with admission to the AGW and open families.
  • Masks must be worn at all times and safety guidelines must be followed.
  • Familiarize yourself with the AGW Code of Conduct.
