Rocks and Roads Race Series – MTB Relay Race

July 29th, 2023 – Time Trial Race

Get ready to race on the 10-kilometre course during the Time Trial race! This event is a perfect opportunity to test the course before the Relay Race. Racers can expect to complete one lap in 30-40 minutes. In addition, this day will feature youth and adult skills clinics, a kids’ bike rodeo, and other exciting community events.

July 30th, 2023 – Relay Race

The Rocks and Roads Race Series Relay Race challenges teams of 1 person (solo), 2 people (double), or teams of 3 or 4 people to complete as many laps as possible on the 10-kilometer course within the 6-hour time limit. But there’s a twist: each rider will have to dismount and “pass the baton” to their teammate to continue the race. Whether you’re looking to compete or just ride for fun, the Relay Race is an exciting way to spend the day with friends and family!

The terrain will consist of grass, gravel and dirt in a mix of single and double track. The course will utilize Malden Parks green novice trail, blue intermediate uphill and red advanced downhill and flow trail. With 63 meters of elevation, fast descents, punchy climbs with areas of tech and flow each lap this course provides something for everyone.
