Lanspeary Lions Outdoor Rink will open on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, weather permitting, for both rentals and free public skating.

Public Skating

Free public skating will be offered at Lanspeary Lions Outdoor Rink Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Skate aids, as well as parents/guardians without skates are not permitted on the ice during public skating. Helmets, gloves and other safety equipment are highly recommended for everyone who is on the ice.

Parent & Tot Skating

Lanspeary Lions Outdoor Rink will offer free Parent & Tot Skating this season on Mondays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parent & Tot Skating welcomes parents and children ages 5 and under. Skate aids are permitted during Parent & Tot Skating.

Adult Skating

Lanspeary Lions Outdoor Rink will offer free Adult Skating this season on Tuesdays from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for those 18 years of age and older.


Ice rentals are available at Lanspeary Lions Outdoor Rink. Please call our seasonal and sports facilitator at (519) 253-2300 ext. 2714 for inquiries.

Skate Lending

All Saints Church, located in downtown Windsor at 330 City Hall Square West, lends skates free of charge for use at any of the City’s arenas. Skate lending is available to individuals on Saturdays. Groups are welcome, by appointment, to borrow skates for their special events by calling (519) 253-8001. Click here for additional information.
