Jazz Connection feat. SoCA’s Jazz Faculty

The University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts (SoCA) presents Jazz Connections, a concert bringing together jazz faculty members for a rare group appearance!
Featured are some of the players you’ve heard at Mackenzie Hall Jazz: Mike Karloff, piano; Mike Palazzolo, bass; Bob Fazecash, trumpet; and Vanessa Harnish, drums. They will be joined by other SoCA faculty: Detroit-based vocalist Shahida Nurullah; saxophonist Jeffrey Price and Toronto-based guitarist Miles Finlayson. All top players.
Saturday’s concert will offer fans a chance to hear modern jazz pieces and classics by Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, Charles Mingus, Kenny Garrett, Burt Bacharach and others.
