Hops By The River Brewfest
Saturday, October 1, 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Belle River Brewhouse & GL Heritage Brewing Company are partnering to host a fun afternoon and evening by the river between local craft beer friends. The event runs Saturday, October 1st from 1pm until 9pm and will offer an Octoberfest-like experience filled with cold beer, delicious food, live music and DJ entertainment by Tim Cassidy, and prize-filled games.
It all happens on the grounds of Belle River Brewhouse, located at 499 Notre Dame St. in Belle River. Tickets are $10.00 in advance through eventbrite or $13.00 at the door. Space is limited so be sure to get your tickets for your friends and family before they are all gone!
“We look forward to our collaboration with the GL Heritage Brewing team in this event. Our goal is to bring people together to celebrate this beautiful time of year! Cheers to great beer, food and friends.”, says Belle River Brewhouse Co-Owner, Jason Poisson.
HOPS BY THE RIVER GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY!
Belle River Brewhouse & GL Heritage Brewing Company are both family-owned breweries which believe bringing folks together for good times can and should also involve giving back to those in need. Hops by the River will proudly be donating a portion of the proceeds from this event to both Belle River Support Centre and Amherstburg Community Services.
“Having fun and celebrating all things local can always involve helping our community. Our collaboration with the crew at Belle River Brewhouse for this event reinforces our mutual desire to help our neighbours in need whenever we can.”, adds Jen Desjardins-Grondin, Co-Owner of Amherstburg’s first craft brewery, GL Heritage Brewing Co.
WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
You’ll have a choice of a variety of craft beer styles from both Belle River Brewhouse and GL Heritage Brewery, which pair perfectly with Octoberfest-style food: pierogi, Polish sausage, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, salad and Bavarian pretzels with beer dip.
