Holiday Activities at the Chimczuk Museum
Friday, December 9, 2022 to Sunday, January 8
Visit the Chimczuk Museum this holiday season for some family-friendly activities and exciting exhibitions.
Jack Frost and his helpers have gotten lost inside the museum, and staff need your help to find them. Visitors are encouraged to search through the museum’s exhibitions to find Jack Frost and his friends and unscramble the secret holiday word.
While you’re there, don’t miss the new exhibition Dinosaur Discoveries: Ancient Fossils, New Ideas travelling from the American Museum of Natural History. Families can work together to complete a dino-themed scavenger hunt and receive a small prize! In addition, the Children’s Gallery is filled with interactive activities and self-guided holiday-themed crafts.
Have any last minute shopping needs? The Museum Gift Shop is a great location for unique gifts, locally made goods, historical books, and a wide selection of Christmas items.
The Chimczuk Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum will be closed to the public on December 25, 2022, and January 1, 2023.
