History of Pro Wrestling in Windsor Book Launch at Phog Lounge

THE OFFICIAL BOOK LAUNCH PARTIES FOR “KILLERS, BUTCHERS, CRY-BABYS & CANADIAN DESTROYERS”, the debut book by Windsor author Jamie Greer on the over 100 year history of professional wrestling in Windsor-Essex County, from Killer Kowalski to Abdullah the Butcher to George “Cry-Baby” Cannon to Scott D’Amore!

There will be TWO book launch parties happening on Sunday July 28 in DOWNTOWN WINDSOR!
12pm to 3pm – PHOG LOUNGE (157 University Ave. W)
7pm to 10pm – METEOR (138 University Ave. W)

BOTH EVENTS WILL FEATURE:
– Curated exhibit of Windsor-centric memorabilia of wrestling items dating back to the 1930s, including programs, photos, magazines, toys, and other items, including a gold medal!
– A LIVE Q & A hosted by CTV Windsor’s Sanjay Maru and WinCity Sports’ Drake D’Amore, who will not only be asking their own questions, but fielding questions from the audience!
– The first live opportunity to purchase the book (which should be available on-line two weeks prior!)
– The Evening Show at Meteor will conclude with a set from local punk heroes AVOID THE COMMENT SECTION!
