The 2022 Ford Fireworks return to light up the sky along Windsor’s Riverfront! In its 64th year, this year’s show is themed “Hey Detroit, The Sky Shines for You!”
Fireworks are scheduled to blast off at 9:55pm with Tuesday June 28th as the rain date if needed.
Area residents will once again benefit from free use of Transit Windsor buses as well as a free direct shuttle bus option on fireworks night thanks to Zehrs®.
Transit Windsor will provide free direct service from Devonshire Mall to a drop-off spot near City Hall as well as free regular bus service across the community. Transit Windsor is required by federal regulations to ensure all riders must wear a mask while on the bus.

Free Park ‘n’ ride shuttle buses
Avoid any parking issues and road closures by enjoying the free ride from Devonshire Mall to the Windsor riverfront and back. Shuttles leave Devonshire Mall, starting at 6:00 p.m., from Sydney Avenue and the last shuttle will return to the mall from McDougall Avenue, beside Windsor Arena, immediately following the Fireworks and until midnight.
Windsor Bicycling Committee Bike Parking
The Windsor Bicycling Committee will offer a free bike parking service to cyclists attending the Ford Fireworks this year. The service will be offered on June 27th, in the Charles Clark Square, from 6pm to 11pm. Cyclists will be able to lock their bikes within the corral space that will be actively monitored throughout that period.
VIP Events
Fireworks Charity Night: Support the Fight Like Mason Foundation with indoor viewing of the Fireworks at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts. Tickets include fireworks viewing and family-friendly food and entertainment.
Windsor Riverfront Fireworks Party: The Windsor Parade Corporation presents the one and only Windsor Riverfront Fireworks Party: dinner, drinks, entertainment and of course the best seats in the house combine for an unforgettable evening!
