Essex Region Bike Tour

The Essex Region Bike Tour offers routes for every age and ability. This fundraising event helps to support local conservation and specifically for this year – the creation of a new entrance to the Cypher Systems Group Greenway Trail. Rest stops and a locally sourced lunch, as well as safety road marshals, are always part of this fun day. All routes begin and end at Mettawas Park in Kingsville.

Greenway Routes include:
• 15 Kilometer Round Trip Family Ride
• 32 Kilometer Round Trip Intermediate Ride
• 64 Kilometer Round Trip Advance Ride

The Chrysler Canada Greenway is a former rail trail that connects 25 otherwise separate natural areas. It is a safe, off-road trail system that passes through farmland, crosses water courses, and explores some of the most beautiful vistas along Canada’s South Coast.

Road Routes
• 60 Kilometer Intermediate Ride
• 100 Kilometer Advanced Ride

This year’s brand new road routes have been designed by Share the Road to maximize rider safety and comfort. Both routes include a rest stop at the most southern mainland road in Canada – at the tip of Point Pelee National Park!
