On a cold blustery day in Waylin Harbour, Eaton Hartson was out on his boat with his two brothers trying to bring in the last net of the day. As they pulled the net out of the lake, Eaton noticed a hand sticking out of the net. After further investigation, they saw it was Luke McClain, their fishing rival out on the lake. Eaton and his brothers brought the boat in and called the Sheriff right away. After the doctor and the sheriff did some investigating it was discovered someone had killed Luke with a fishing hook and dumped his body into the lake. Of course, the news spread through town like wildfire. Luke, the inheritor of his dad’s very successful fishing business, was dead. Luke had his fair share of enemies in Waylin. From his sister who was disinherited from the fortune, to the other fishing companies, the list did not seem to get any shorter no matter how much the sheriff investigated.
Did Luke’s sister finally decide she was going to get what she deserved from their dad’s fortune? Did Eaton’s wife Margaret kill Luke to try and help her husband grow his fishing business? That’s where you come in! Talk to the townsfolk, reel in the evidence and don’t let the murderer off the hook!
