Big Wreck & Thornley Set to Rock The Colosseum Stage

Alternative rock takes centre stage at The Colosseum with Big Wreck & Thornley!

Fronted by Toronto singer-songwriter-guitarist Ian Thornley, rock outfit Big Wreck burst onto the scene in 1997 with their debut album In Loving Memory Of…, including the hit singles, “That Song,” “Blown Wide Open,” and “The Oaf.” Following a hiatus from 2002 to 2010, the band returned with the Number One single “Albatross” and a Platinum-selling album of the same name. Big Wreck has gone on to release a continuous flow of celebrated hit albums and songs while crossing North America with their unique brand of heavy-hitting live rock.

Thornley is a Canadian rock band that emerged in the early 2000s, fronted by Ian Thornley while on hiatus from Big Wreck. The band’s debut album, Come Again, swiftly captivated rock enthusiasts with its melodies, robust guitar riffs, and evocative vocals. The album’s lead single, “So Far So Good,” ascended rock and alternative radio charts in North America, was certified Gold, and cemented Thornley’s stature in the music realm.
