2023 Windsor Cup Squash Series

World Class Squash Comes to Windsor, ON with three professional tournaments played from August 15th-19th at Devonshire Mall.

The Past, Present and Future of squash will converge in Windsor, Ontario from August 15th – 19th at the Devonshire Mall as the Squash Canada all-glass Power Court will play host to a series of exciting and important events to showcase our sport. The goal of this exciting celebration is to bring world-class squash to Windsor while providing critical development opportunities for Squash Canada’s Senior, NextGen and Junior athletes on their home soil.

With thanks to Gold sponsors Ciena Healthcare, SAZ Consulting, and Shaban Dental Clinic, many generous silver and bronze sponsors and the Windsor Squash Community, three events will be held concurrently, including the Windsor Cup Men’s 45k Bronze event, the Windsor City Open Women’s 9k Challenger event, and the Windsor City Open Men’s 6k Challenger event.

The week will kick off with the first rounds of the Windsor Cup Bronze matches at the Power Glass Court prominently installed in Windsor’s largest shopping center, the Devonshire Mall while both Windsor City Open Challenger events first round matches will be battled out at the Windsor Squash and Fitness Club on August 15th starting at 12:00pm. All three tournaments will share the stage at the Power Glass Court in Devonshire mall for the quarterfinals (August 17th), semifinals (August 18th) and finals (August 19th).

These three events will have athlete representation from 20 different countries around the world. The Windsor City Open Men’s event will showcase Canada’s top male players while the Windsor City Open Women’s event will have some of the world’s top female players with the number one seed being ranked at #56 in the world. The Bronze event will have the world’s top 60 ranked players featuring, #23 Gregoire Marche, #18 Mohamed El Sherbini, #12 Youseff Soliman and #9 Tarek Momen. This week is bound to show exciting, intense and amazing squash and athleticism by all participants who are battling it out to win the title.

The $250 weekly pass includes; a seat to ALL matches, and a ticket to the tournament dinner at Jackson Park Health Centre on Monday, August 14th at 6:30pm.
